Launch of Operational Support Service to Reduce Workload of
Information System Departments
~Pre-released SaaS management tool “Wasurenai,” has over 100,000 users

and contributes to operational efficiency of information system departments~

SHIFT Inc. (“SHIFT,” headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Masaru Tange, CEO and Representative Director; TSE: 3697), which supports customers’ successful software services and product manufacturing, has launched “operational support services specializing in information system departments”. The service provides accompanying support and high value-added BPO to reduce workload of information system departments and improve their value. With this free-of-charge SaaS management tool “Wasurenai,” which has over 100,000 users (*1) in 6months since its release, we support information system departments focusing on “defensive” actions to protect companies to be able to take more “offensive” actions to accelerate business growth.

Background of service development
In recent years, information system departments are expected to not only solve problems such as lack of manpower and lack of operational structure, but also to utilize management resources efficiently. As SHIFT supports our customers with DX to resolve their business/IT issues, we have encountered a situation in which many information system departments’ members are not sufficiently engaged in system planning and driving DX, which contribute to business growth. That is because they have been so busy with defensive tasks such as operating existing systems and responding to internal inquiries. SHIFT has been providing BPO services for IT operations, based on the idea that it is necessary to remove issues that information system departments are facing and reallocate the resources to make the department more “Offensive” rather than “Defensive” to accelerate company growth.
Now, SHIFT has launched“operational support services specializing in information system departments”to strengthen support for the departments. SHIFT will also continue to promote the implementation of the free-of-charge SaaS management tool “Wasurenai” and visualize more essential issues that information system departments have. By leading to a solution with accompanying support, SHIFT accelerate customers to transform into “offensive” teams.
