SHIFT Inc. (“SHIFT,” headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Masaru Tange, CEO and Representative Director) is honored to announce today that it was ranked in 234th in “High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2022” that Financial Times (headquartered in London) and Statista (headquartered in Hamburg) collaborate to research. Also, it is its third time to be ranked in.
1. About “High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2022”
“High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2022” is a ranking which Financial Times and Statista conducts. joint surveys. Among companies headquartered in one of 13 territories in the Asia-Pacific region (Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam), they are ranked up to 500 based on CAGR in revenue between 2017 and 2020.
2. Criteria of “High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2022”
– Revenue of at least $100,000 generated in 2017 (or currency value equivalent as of December 31 2017);
– Revenue of at least $1m generated in 2020 (or currency value equivalent as of December 31 2020);
– An independent company (not a subsidiary or branch office of any kind);
– Headquartered in one of these 13 territories in the Asia-Pacific region – Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam;
– Revenue growth between 2017 and 2020 that was primarily organic (ie “internally” generated).

3. Factors behind “High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2022”
SHIFT has achieved high CAGR in revenue between FY2017 and FY2020 due to the following factors.
– The number of engineers increased due to the strengthening of human resource recruitment, which is a key area of focus. Engineer unit prices also rose, and growth in existing businesses grew steadily
– Succeeded in establishing a one-stop service system for SHIFT Group by implementing six M&A deals through strengthened M&A strategy
– Strengthen the sales system under the supervision of former Keyence Representative Director (Outside Director at the time of FY2020 and Executive Vice President since November 2020) and expand the scope of customers
It is its great pleasure to be ranked in such a notable ranking for three times. Going forward, SHIFT will continue to make further growth.
