SHIFT Launched Global Business Support Service,
in Response to Requests from SHIFT Customers
―Entered into Business Alliances with two U.S.-based Companies
to Realize “Made-in-Japan Quality for All Software Products”-
SHIFT is pleased to announce that it has entered into business alliance agreements with EAI Technologies, LLC (“EAI Technologies,” headquartered in Virginia, U.S., CEO: Velan Thillairajah) and SYSCOM GLOBAL SOLUTIONS INC. (“SYSCOM,” headquartered in New York, U.S., CEO: Seishi Sato), respectively, and will begin providing global business support service.
– Background of the Service Launch
Since its founding, SHIFT has been expanding its business while providing domestic services to customers based in Japan. In Japan, the SHIFT Group’s net sales in the fiscal year ended August 2024 amounted to 110.6 billion while IT market was around 16 trillion yen*, and it believes that SHIFT will still have a significant potential to expand its business in the Japanese market. In addition, recently, there has been an increase in the need to support for customers’ global bases, as well as expanding support for customers in Japan.
There are a wide variety of issues that SHIFT is consulted with regarding global business, including the uniformity of development quality across the world, establishment of multi locations that includes Japan, resource shortages, strengthening communication systems. SHIFT believes that it can provide additional value in global business support, with its recruitment of multi-lingual/ international talents and service supply capabilities backed by service quality and recruiting capabilities that SHIFT has accumulated to date.
Moreover, we concluded these business alliances because we believe that by providing services to our clients while expanding overseas, we will be able to diminish risks in overseas expansion.

– Outlook
Through these business alliances with the above two companies, SHIFT will first provide global business support to its existing clients by offering development/operation services and bridge engineers. While SHIFT is in charge of contact with customers and project control, EAI Technologies or SYSCOM is in charge of project promotion. This enables us to provide services in a timely manner while maintaining the service quality that we currently provide to Japanese customers. Furthermore, by introducing the services of the SHIFT Group to the U.S. customers of the two companies, we will promote the establishment and expansion of the customer global base, and establish cooperative relations with each other for business expansion by forming alliances with the two companies with their respective strengths.
Moreover, the U.S. is one of the countries where IT’s cutting-edge technologies, including AI, are concentrated. By building cooperative relationships with companies that have offices in the U.S., SHIFT will gather information on leading-edge technologies, trends, and know-how and work to develop business.
The SHIFT Group expects these alliances to have no material impact on its financial results or financial position. However, should there be any significant changes, SHIFT will promptly disclose any impact on its future financial outlook based on the Tokyo stock exchange regulations.
