Becoming the third Partner in Japan to advance BizDevOps
Three from SHIFT Appointed DASA Ambassadors to Lead Collaboration and Talent Development in Japan and Globally
SHIFT Inc. (Head Office: Minato ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masaru Tange; hereinafter “SHIFT”), which supports customers in creating software services and products that drive sales, announces that it has concluded a Transformation Partner contract with DASA (Headquarters: Dutch Rotterdam, CEO: Rik Farenhorst), the world’s largest DevOps/ agile trade association. SHIFT is the third Japanese company to sign the agreement. In addition, three professionals from SHIFT have been appointed as DASA Ambassadors to lead digital transformation (DX), collaboration, and talent development in Japan and globally.
DASA has more than 40,000 community members in 50 countries and has partnered with more than 300 organizations. We are integrating business with development and operation processes and developing a variety of programs to realize a “BizDevOps” in which both business and technical departments in companies collaborate to create new value. Going forward, SHIFT will further expand its DevOps/ Agile-related services and promote the strengthening of human resource development while utilizing DASA’s extensive knowledge of DevOps/ Agile and global partnerships. Through these efforts, we will contribute to advancing DX for domestic companies and ultimately realizing BizDevOps.
【Partnership Objectives】
■Supporting the introduction of Global DevOpes/Agile Best Pactices in Japan
SHIFT will support the introduction of DASA Value Box, which systematically organizes the best practices of DevOps/ Agiles in developing products, into the Japanese market. In addition to promoting the localization of DASA value box content, we will update SHIFT’s proprietary agile transformation framework, “Eight Keys,” and expand and provide services. In this way, we will work to resolve issues such as improving the development productivity of products possessed by domestic companies and collaborating between business/technology divisions.
■Strengthening Human Resource Development for the Development of Next-Generation Leaders
SHIFT will further strengthen its human resource development by utilizing the extensive educational programs offered by DASA. Aiming to create the next generation of leaders who will drive DevOps/ agile domain in Japan, we will conduct systematic training according to the skills-levels of individual members.
【Appointment of Three DASA Ambassadors】
The DASA Ambassador program is a DASA accreditation that recognizes professionals around the world with specialized expertise in DevOps and Agile. As of September 2025, 34 professionals globally—including three newly appointed members from SHIFT—have been accredited.

Going forward, the three people newly appointed DASA Ambassadors will
work alongside customers and society to drive transformation—focused on business agility and quality assurance—by bringing together DASA’s Value Box with SHIFT’s Agile transformation framework, “Eight Keys.” Through Eight Keys—comprising Development, Organization, Management, Mindset, Culture, Communication, Evaluation, and Recruitment—they will accelerate outreach and contributions to DevOps and Agile communities in Japan and around the world.
