SHIFT Launches “SECURE AQ,” a New Service Brand Delivering Reliable Security Quality for the AI Era
Dramatically strengthening its security business organization through the integration of SHIFT SECURITY. Accelerating joint service development with partner companies, starting with two specialized Splunk solutions.

SHIFT Inc. (“SHIFT,” headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Masaru Tange, CEO and Representative Director), a provider of business transformation services rooted in quality, today announced the launch of “SECURE AQ,” an integrated security service brand.

“SECURE AQ” is a new brand designed to maximize corporate security quality by combining AI-driven operational automation and efficiency with the advanced responsiveness of professional personnel. Effective September 1, 2026, SHIFT absorbed the SHIFT SECURITY Group, significantly strengthening its security business organization and integrating each company’s security services under the “SECURE AQ” brand. Under this brand, SHIFT will further expand its existing collaborative foundation and promote joint solution development and partnerships with partner companies. As the first phase of this initiative, SHIFT is launching two new services supporting Splunk products from introduction and adoption to advanced monitoring and operations: the “Splunk Adoption Support Service” and the “Splunk Enterprise Security SOC Operational Service.”

[Background of Brand Launch]
With the proliferation of AI and IoT technologies, cyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated and complex, leading to a rapid surge in domestic security threats. According to a survey by the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT)^*1, the volume of cyberattack-related traffic observed in 2024 increased more than tenfold compared to 10 years ago (2015), setting a new historical high. In this environment, enterprises are required to respond instantly to unknown vulnerabilities and sophisticated attack tactics. At the same time, the severe shortage of specialized security talent leaves companies facing multifaceted challenges—ranging from the deployment and operation of advanced security tools to the construction of enterprise-wide cybersecurity frameworks.

SHIFT holds international certifications including ISO/IEC 27001:2022^*2, ISO/IEC 27701:2019^*3, and ISO 9001:2015^*4, driving its security business under high-level governance based on these standards. Following the consolidation of the business foundations and expertise of both SHIFT and SHIFT SECURITY to significantly strengthen the Group’s overall security business organization, SHIFT decided to launch the new security brand “SECURE AQ.” Going forward, through “SECURE AQ,” SHIFT will establish a robust support structure by combining its advanced AI implementation and utilization capabilities with its partnership promotion strength and SHIFT SECURITY’s professional services. By further promoting joint solution development and collaboration with partner companies, SHIFT will substantially broaden its support capabilities, contributing to the reliable enhancement of security quality and sustained business growth for enterprises in the AI era.

Based on the concept of “safeguarding the business growth and business continuity of domestic enterprises with reliable security quality essential for the AI era,” SECURE AQ was named by combining the “A” from AI and the “Q” from Quality. Provides high-level professional support in strategy formulation and framework construction to address complex challenges difficult for AI alone to solve. From “Red Team Exercises” simulating real-world attacks to 24/7/365 SOC construction and CSIRT/PSIRT readiness consulting, SHIFT powerfully supports the reinforcement of enterprise-wide defense capabilities.

Design & Architecture
Beyond professional services such as privileged access management (PAM) setup and operation support, SIEM setup and operation support, and advanced dashboard development, SHIFT supports building secure environments tailored to client conditions, including network security such as network construction support and SASE/SSE architecture setup and operation.

Operations
Utilizing a network of over 250 auditors developed through proprietary training systems alongside industry-leading generative AI-driven vulnerability diagnostics, SHIFT accurately visualizes and manages latent risks across web applications, networks, and cloud environments. In addition, SHIFT provides comprehensive, hands-on support—from 24/7/365 SOC operations and primary incident response to tool adoption and routine log analysis. Going forward, SHIFT will drive further automation and operational efficiency by leveraging the expertise of its AI testing solution, “NEMURANAI.”

By combining SHIFT’s AI implementation and utilization expertise with SOC analysts possessing deep technical knowledge, the service automates and streamlines sophisticated threat detection and analysis—achieving both rapid crisis response and a significant reduction in customer operational workload. Furthermore, in anticipation of upcoming feature releases such as Splunk’s “Triage AI,” SHIFT aims to support next-generation SOC operations, including automated primary alert triage and advanced threat analysis.
